We accept all major debit cards except Maestro, Electron, pre-paid cards and credit card.
A credit card is required if you are renting a Wedding Vehicle, Compact Elite, SUV, Premium, Luxury or Executive vehicle.
All cards must have the main driver's name on them.

Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organisation.
If the passport is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines.
All renters must produce a valid ID such as driving licence, passport or ID card. Visitors to the Democratic Republic of Congo must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in DRC.
Invoices are only available online for twelve months, beginning 10 minutes after you have returned the vehicle.

A deposit is not compulsory – at YEYO RENTAL it's fixed at $0.00 and $1000 for wedding cars, premium and 4 x 4 vehicles.
The deposit is refundable provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition. The time scale for the funds to be available on your card will vary depending on your bank or card provider.

The rate charged after the rental is different to the one quoted upon booking if any of the above factors applied.
Generally, no. Vehicles can typically only be hired and returned within the official opening hours. Please contact the local car hire branch to enquire about possible after-hours hires and returns.

If you’ve made a reservation and received a YEYO RENTAL confirmation number, this means your booking has been successfully recorded and the branch has access to it.
To double-check your booking, you can view your reservation online, this will allow you to confirm all your details and ensure everything is in order.
View/Cancel/Modify your Reservation
Yes, from our home page select "Manage bookings", then "View/Cancel/Modify a Reservation". Just key in your login details. The booking will appear on the screen, and you can click on the "Modify" button.
Please note that if you are amending a prepaid booking, the system will only charge/refund (depending if the new price is higher/cheaper) the difference, if any exists, between the new rate and the original one. In case of a refund, this may take 5 to 10 working days to appear on your account.
Our bookings cancellation policy reflects the availability of the vehicles in our fleet. Upon acceptance of your booking, we reserve the availability of the vehicle for you and subsequently refuse all other bookings for that vehicle at that time and on that date.
If Yeyo Rental feels that a booking cannot be made, which can include sudden emergency for the driver, unavailability of the vehicle, or extreme weather conditions, bookings may be cancelled along with a full refund.
All our rental vehicles run on either unleaded or diesel fuel. All vehicles will be supplied with a full tank of fuel or empty tank. It is the customer's responsibility to refill the vehicle at the end of the rental period if the tank was full on collection.
Fuel charges or fuel shortage will be charged at current pump prices plus a refilling surcharge of $25. Alternatively, you can pre-purchase a full tank of fuel before you set off, return the car empty and we'll do the refilling for you. Any fuel left in the vehicle won't be refunded.
Mileage is unlimited on the majority of DRC car hires.
There can be exceptions depending on location, car category and length of hire. In order to determine your mileage limitations from a specific location you will need to begin the reservation process.
We do not permit any of our vehicles to be taken outside of the Kinshasa area. If you wish to travel outside of the capital of Kinshasa, the payment will be double the Kinshasa rental price. Contact our team for more information.
Please be assured that we make every effort to hold items that are left behind; either in a car hire vehicle or at one of our locations. To enquire about a lost item, please contact us.
Please note: If your car hire location is not listed on the website, you will be able to submit a "Lost and Found" online form.
At YEYO RENTAL we believe you should not be charged for fair wear and tear. We use our Damage Evaluator tool to ensure that you are not charged for every little scratch.
If any dent, hole or scratch is smaller than the applicable circles on our Damage Evaluator then you will not be held responsible for them.
If any damage occurs to your rental vehicle, then please contact our branch or follow the instructions provided within your rental agreement summary.
There is no penalty fee for returning the car early. You will only be charged for the days you had the vehicle (excluding prepaid reservations).
The system will amend the rate to reflect the new length of car hire as of the time you made your booking. This may change the daily rate applied over the length of your hire.
No. We provide a damage waiver and it's included in the cost of your hire.
The damage waiver comes with an excess.
You do have the option to purchase additional protection products to lower the excess.

A Damage Waiver protects you in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle and lowers the amount you are liable for. It may be included in the cost of your hire and will have an excess dependent on the vehicle category. It means your financial responsibility is limited should something go wrong.
If you want to reduce the Damage Waiver excess you can purchase additional protection products.

Before purchasing any coverage products, it is advisable to determine if your personal coverage is adequate to cover these charges. However, the renter will be required to pay any applicable charges and seek compensation from the carrier of personal coverage.

To facilitate a smooth experience, we strongly recommend discussing any potential need for extended time in advance of your event.
At YEYO RENTAL, we recognise that wedding plans can evolve, and last-minute changes may be necessary. We strive to accommodate your needs without adding unnecessary stress. Therefore, we do not automatically charge a fee for modifications to your booking unless they result in additional mileage or extended hire time.
